Once there was a snake. The snake was eaten by a giant lizard called a komodo dragon. His name was George but he though that name was dumb. So he spent a few days thinking of a new name. Then he settled for the name Komodo. Then he saw something that looked like another snake. The snake was moving behind him and was as long as he was. So he chased it but the snake kept following him. He chased it for 2 days before he remembered it was his tail. He bit it was how he remembered. Then he found a kangaroo. He wasn’t sure why a kangaroo was in Indonesia. So he went up and said â€Å"Hi! I’m Komodo. What’s your name?† The kangaroo said â€Å"Uhh†¦ I don’t have a name I just named myself Springboard. If you’re a komodo dragon can you breathe fire?† Komodo†¦show more content†¦Then he picked up Thor’s Hammer and turned into Thor, and flew away. Behind him, Springboard yelled, â€Å"Can I go back to Australia?!† Then he flew to England and took-over as King Lizard. Then while he was walking through a park he saw a bird sitting in a tree. Then he jumped up and chomped the bird out of the tree. But after his 4 hours, 32 minutes and 16 seconds of being in England he got bored of tea and weird hats. So he took over the ship that Charles Darwin sailed. He renamed it from the Beagle to the Smeagol. (He sold Thor’s hammer for a stuffed bear). Then he sailed to the U.S. While on his 3 week sail he taught evolution to his stuffed bear. â€Å"Okay. Let’s get something straight. According to Evolution: MAGIC DOES EXIST!! Okay. So once there was a tiny space fart. Then it made STUFF out of nothing. And then planets and earth poofed out of nothing See? MAGIC! But the earth didn’t look like it does today. Before, it used to be soup. More specifically tomato soup. Then once there a germ. The Role of Iago in William Shakespeare’s Othello As in any Shakespearean tragedy, there are opposing forces that bring about the tragic ending. William Shakespeare’s play Othello would not be one without an evil catalyst named Iago. He is a standard-bearer, or an â€Å"ancient† to the tragic hero Othello, who was a Moorish general in a Venetian army. In the play, Iago is the Satanic figure in whatever the word evil connotes. The word â€Å"evil† means that of which is morally bad or wrong, or that which causes harm, pain, or misery (Popkin, par. 1). There are several traits or characteristics that are common to both Iago and Satan. According Professor William Grace, of Fordham University, â€Å"Both Iago and Satan are skilled deceivers,†¦show more content†¦This quote, which appears in an early monologue by Iago, shows how Iago sees virtue as meaningless, trivial, and insignificant and that personal will should rule one’s decision making. Also, by his simple condemnation of virtue, Iago is alienating himself from every aspect of goodness. Satan, on the other hand, was morally pure (Ezek. 28:12-15). Satan was formerly an angel of God and was also known as Lucifer or â€Å"the morning star† (Isa. 14:12). Power can be anything from love to death or even electrical power; it’s all about how you view the term on a personal level. Often people relate power to symbols, words, phrases or even colours. When I did my power survey some of the answers that I got were lightning bolt, fist, peace sign, and groups of people. The lightning bolt was the most popular ones, I have spoken with my classmates and this was a popular one, I think this is a popular choice because it can represent different kinds of power leaving multiple impressions on people. Some political figures can be viewed as very powerful people because they can control mass amounts of people for better or for worse; this includes people like JFK and Hitler. Colour can make a huge impact and difference on people when presenting something this is why on my poster I tried to pay attention of the meaning of the colours while still rying to make it look as good as it does. For myself I view red and black as two very important colours because they both have very strong meanings that have both impacted my life significantly. In conclusion I still believe and proceed to see power as a social and political level that you can use to control or influence people on a positive or negative way.
